As marriage counselors with more than 25 years of combined experience, Susan Laeppil and Barbara Mauers are committed to helping people work through the difficulties of divorce, as well as the wide variety and complexity of other relationship issues in today’s society.

Barbara Mauers, M. S. W., C.S.W.
Barbara Mauersis a clinician who specializes in many different types of relationships and marriages. Barbara has provided a wealth of experience to deal with all psychological problems. Her broad range of clients attest to her versatility. She is the author of eight published books. An acknowledged expert on nutrition and eating disorders. She has conducted many relationship workshops and is well versed in group dynamics. Barbara Mauers is frequently on radio and television and is presently co-leading the Divorce/Relationship Recovery Program at the 92nd Street YMHA in New York City. Barbara is also in private practice.

Susan Laeppil, M. S. W., C.S.W.
Susan Laeppil is a seasoned clinician with over 20 years of experience on the assessment and treatment of relationship disorders. She is the co-author of the book "Women and Mental Health: New Directions for Change," and other publications. She has been guest advice editor for Divorce Magazine and has appeared on radio and TV, notably Good
Morning NY, The Joan Hamburg Show, and the Metro Media Learning Channel. In September, Susan will have a radio show, "The Relationship Corner" in New York City and the greater metropolitan area on station WPAT. Susan is also in private practice.
